The Client found spinbits through our Clutch profile. In January 2021 she asked us to develop an internal application for his cleaning company. They offer cleaning services of houses. There are two options: standard cleaning and premium cleaning. The second one is used, for example, by movie crews to have movie sets cleaned. Earlier, it used to take a lot of time to book house cleanings through phone calls. So they decided to keep up with the times and invest in technology to improve the booking process. The Customer wanted the application to be reliable and unfailing. This is why we decided to use the best technology: PHP, Symfony, Vue.js, and PostgreSQL.

The customer appreciated our plan and idea, so we got down to work. We decided that the application would be based on a calendar. What’s more, it had to be super easy to use.

How does it work?

When you open the app, you choose the type of service - standard or premium. Then, enter the size of the area in square meters. Next, the system calculates how long it takes to clean this surface. For example, cleaning 200 square meters lasts for 8 hours. Then, the calendar opens, so it’s time to choose the date of the service. Depending on whether it’s a working day or a weekend - prices may vary. After selecting the time, the price appears. If it suits you, the app redirects you to the payment system, where you have to pay for the service. Then, you receive transaction and order confirmations. After that, the only thing you have to do is wait to have your house cleaned!
