Our Customer's Spanish and Portuguese School is one of the oldest and fastest growing language schools in Poland. Founded in 2005, the school offers courses for students of all ages and levels - beginner children and advanced adults. The number of people, who took part in language courses in the past 15 years, is almost 20 000. The school hires around 35 qualified and experienced Spanish teachers, 25 professional Portuguese teachers, 14 Spanish native speakers, and 12 Portuguese native speakers from Portugal and Brazil. The school has its branches in the biggest Polish cities - Gdansk, Gdynia, Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, and Katowice, and it's still growing!

Workshops

The client explained to us what he doesn’t like about the old website - it was slow, outdated, and unintuitive to use. Then, he told about what he expects to achieve and showed competitors’ websites, which he thinks are good-looking. He wanted the website to be fast, functional, and nice-looking. What’s more, he wanted to publish content on his website on his own, without the developer’s help, so we suggested implementing CMS, to make it possible.

Building the team

The Customer was very demanding, so we knew, that the people working on this project have to be qualified enough to manage it. Our choice fell on Project Manager, UX/UI Designer, and Frontend and Backend Engineers, who have wide experience with developing websites.

The work was time-consuming but worth doing! Spinbits team worked with the use of Figma, Strapi, Gatsby, and Vue.js.

Digital Marketing & Maintenance

The customer’s goal was to gain new customers and students to his school. This is why we decided to implement some SEO solutions. After finishing the project, we are still in touch with the Customer, if necessary.

In order to reach a wider audience and promote its services, the school decided to develop a new website. Why? The previous one was outdated, users were not interested in it and it was difficult to navigate it. The goal was to create a modern and user-friendly platform that would be able to showcase all the school's advantages, class levels, teachers' biograms, etc.

The whole project was divided into several stages, starting with the development of branding and identification. We created a new logo and visual identity that would reflect the school's values ​​and philosophy. We focused on warm colors - to stay in the sunny climate of southern countries.

Then we moved on to creating design and developing the actual website. We focused on creating a great but simple, eye-catching design, with vibrant colors that invite users to travel to Spain and South America. Clear and intuitive interface that would make it easy for users to find the information they were looking for. The website is available in three language versions - Polish, Spanish, and Portuguese.

We also implemented a digital marketing strategy that included SEO activities. To do that, the website has a separate "blog" subpage, which made it easier to make the positioning. Thanks to our efforts, the website quickly became one of the most popular language-learning schools in Poland and appears in the TOP 10 in Google search results.

Finally, we provided hosting and maintenance services to ensure that the website would always be up and running. What's worth adding, our cooperation finished in 2020, and since that time there's no bugs or problems that need to be fixed! The whole page runs flawlessly. :)

The whole process was a great success and the Client was very satisfied with the final result. Thanks to the new website, Spanish and Portuguese School has been able to reach a much wider audience and attract over 4 thousand new students in a year! There are plans to open other branches of the school in different cities.
